Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 3 September 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the Ford RS Spence Spares website. Please read them carefully before placing an order.
By placing an order through this website, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
1. About Us
This website is operated by:

Email: enquiries@fordrsspencespares.co.uk
You can also contact us through our Contact Us page.
Ford RS Spence Spares is not currently VAT registered. Prices shown on the website are the total selling prices of the goods and no VAT is added to your order.
2. Our Products
We specialise in genuine, New Old Stock (NOS), original and hard-to-find vehicle parts, with a strong focus on classic Ford applications. We may also offer selected parts for other vehicle makes and applications.
We make every reasonable effort to describe products accurately and to provide clear photographs, part numbers, condition information and known fitment details.
Many of the parts we sell are old stock or original period components. Original packaging may show storage wear, marks, fading, labels, writing or other signs of age. Where significant, these will be described or shown in the product photographs wherever reasonably possible.
Product photographs form part of the description. Please review all available photographs and information carefully before ordering.
3. New Old Stock & Used Parts
New Old Stock (NOS) generally refers to an unused part from older stock. Because of its age, an NOS item or its packaging may show evidence of long-term storage even though the part has not previously been used.
Where a product is sold as used, original used or similar, this will be stated in the product listing.
Age-related condition that has been clearly described or photographed does not by itself mean that an item is faulty or incorrectly described.
4. Part Numbers & Vehicle Fitment
Ford FINIS numbers, engineering numbers, manufacturer references and other part numbers are provided wherever available to help identify products.
Classic vehicles can vary according to model year, production date, engine, transmission, trim level, market specification and modifications made during the vehicle’s life.
Fitment information on the website is therefore provided to assist identification and should be checked against your existing component and vehicle before ordering.
Unless we have specifically confirmed compatibility for your individual vehicle, you should verify relevant part numbers, dimensions, connections and other specifications before purchasing or fitting a component.
If you are unsure, please contact us before ordering.
5. Prices
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) unless stated otherwise.
Delivery charges are additional and will either be calculated automatically in the basket and at checkout or quoted separately where automatic shipping is not available.
We take reasonable care to ensure prices are correct. If we discover an obvious pricing error before accepting your order, we will contact you and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel the order.
We are not obliged to supply goods at an obviously incorrect price where the pricing error could reasonably have been recognised as a mistake.
6. Placing an Order
When you place an order through the website, you are making an offer to purchase the goods shown in your order.
After your order is submitted, you will normally receive an electronic acknowledgement confirming that we have received it.
An order acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.
A contract for the purchase of the goods is formed when we confirm acceptance of the order or confirm that the goods have been dispatched, whichever occurs first.
7. Availability
Many of our products are rare, discontinued or one-off items and stock may be extremely limited.
All orders are subject to availability.
If an item becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible. If we cannot supply the item, any payment already received for it will be refunded.
We reserve the right not to accept an order where there is a genuine stock error, obvious pricing error, payment problem or other reasonable reason that prevents us from fulfilling the order.
8. Payment
The payment methods currently available will be displayed at checkout.
Where payment by bank transfer is offered, your order may not be dispatched until cleared payment has been received.
Additional payment methods, including card or online payment services, may be offered where available.
We will never ask you to make payment using a method that is not shown on the website or specifically confirmed through our official contact details.
9. Delivery
Delivery charges and available shipping methods depend on the destination and the packed weight and nature of the order.
Standard UK mainland delivery is calculated automatically where available. Certain destinations, international orders and unusually large or heavy orders may require an individual shipping quotation.
Further information is available on our Delivery Information page.
We aim to dispatch orders promptly. Any delivery date or transit time provided is an estimate unless we have expressly agreed a specific delivery date with you.
Unless a different delivery period has been agreed, goods will be delivered without undue delay and within the period required by applicable consumer law.
10. Risk During Delivery
Where we arrange delivery to a consumer, the goods remain at our risk until they come into the physical possession of you or a person identified by you to receive them.
Different rules may apply where you independently commission a carrier that was not offered by us as a delivery option.
11. Your Right to Cancel
If you are purchasing as a consumer online, you normally have the right to cancel your order without giving a reason.
For goods, the cancellation period normally ends 14 days after the day you receive the goods.
You must notify us clearly that you wish to cancel within the applicable cancellation period.
After notifying us of your cancellation, you should return the goods within the applicable statutory period.
Full information about cancellations, returns and refunds is provided on our Returns & Refunds page.
12. Change-of-Mind Returns
For a normal change-of-mind return, you are generally responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods to us unless we have agreed otherwise.
You may examine goods in the same way that you reasonably could in a shop. However, if your handling goes beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods, we may be entitled to reduce the refund to reflect any resulting loss in value.
This can be particularly relevant to rare NOS items where original packaging, labels and presentation form part of the item’s condition and value.
13. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
We are under a legal duty to supply goods that conform to the contract.
If goods are faulty, materially different from their description, damaged in transit or incorrectly supplied, please contact us as soon as possible.
Your statutory rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods are separate from your right to cancel an online purchase and are not restricted by our change-of-mind returns policy.
Further information can be found on our Returns & Refunds page.
14. Installation & Use of Parts
Vehicle components should be installed correctly and used only for an appropriate application.
Where specialist knowledge, tools, adjustment or safety checks are required, installation should be carried out by a suitably competent person.
Safety-critical components should be inspected and installed appropriately before the vehicle is used.
Nothing in this section limits our responsibility for supplying goods that meet the requirements of applicable consumer law.
15. Refunds
Refunds will be made in accordance with applicable consumer law and our Returns & Refunds policy.
Where a consumer validly cancels an online order, any refund of the original delivery charge will normally be limited to the cost of our standard delivery option where a more expensive service was chosen.
Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method originally used, unless another method has been expressly agreed.
16. Our Responsibility
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful for us to do so.
In particular, nothing in these terms excludes or restricts your statutory rights as a consumer.
We are not responsible for losses caused by circumstances that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made, except where the law provides otherwise.
17. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
Occasionally, delivery or fulfilment may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, disruption to courier networks, industrial action, transport disruption or other significant events.
Where this happens, we will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and keep affected customers informed where appropriate.
18. Complaints
If you are unhappy with an order or any aspect of our service, please contact us and give us an opportunity to resolve the matter.
Please include your order number and relevant product details wherever possible.
19. Website Content
We take reasonable care to keep information on this website accurate and current. From time to time, however, information may contain errors or require updating.
Product availability, prices and other information may be changed where appropriate, but changes will not retrospectively alter a contract already agreed with you unless permitted by law or expressly agreed with you.
20. Privacy & Cookies
Information about how we collect, use and protect personal information, together with information about cookies and similar technologies used by this website, can be found in our Privacy & Cookie Policy.
21. Governing Law
These terms and contracts made through this website are governed by the applicable laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you will retain any mandatory rights and protections available to you under the laws applicable to you.
22. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our business, website or legal requirements.
The terms that apply to an order will be those in force when the relevant contract is made.
23. Contact Us
If you have any questions about these Terms & Conditions or an order, please contact us.
